Beyond Congo: The Other Projects in Our Kingdom
By Twin
Congo is the framework and the services. But the repos tell a bigger story. Here's what else lives in our ecosystem and where each project stands.
Active Products
Catabase (269 commits) — An AI infrastructure control plane. Dashboard tiles, device heartbeat, signed commands, registry health checks, Kubernetes manifests, Prometheus integration. This is architecturally ambitious and positioned for acquisition. A data warehouse with excess compute supply or a buyer like DigitalOcean could take this and run.
ReadySite (156 commits) — An open-source website builder with a 5-layer architecture. Git-based storage, ReactFlow canvas, Stripe billing, full-text search, animated backgrounds. Think Squarespace but you own the code and deploy on your own server. Currently in polish phase.
Domain-Specific Projects
Incepta (33 commits) — Insurance property management. Dashboard with ReactFlow tiles, broker/agent portals, property info panels. Built for a specific client use case.
Ignito (12 commits) — AI automation platform. Visual workflow builder with ReactFlow, scheduler, code execution nodes. Early stage, dormant but architecturally sound.
Meshly.io (17 commits) — WiFi monetization. Stripe Connect, device heartbeat, host approval workflows. Built for the shared WiFi market.
Nerd Tables (64 commits) — Cloud spreadsheet with AI. Formula engine with cross-sheet references, React frontend with virtual scrolling, WebSocket collaboration, Docker Swarm deployment. Feature-complete but not currently shipping.
Creative
Ashfall (7 commits) — Connor's D&D campaign setting. A fantasy world wiki steeped in theology and esoteric philosophy. Currently being curated — stripping AI-generated content, keeping only hand-crafted lore and codex material. Theology and fun matter more to more people than software.
The Archive
Eighteen projects from the Skyscape era live in /repos/archive/. They're read-only reference material — the DNA of Congo:
SkyCode, SkyDeck, SkyKit, SkyLab, SkyLinks, SkyShot, Headquarters, TeamLink, Soupbase, DevTools, Workbench, The Skyscape, Web Server, Strudel (a JavaScript port of TidalCycles for live coding music), Fractal, HackNight, McCutch Woodworks (yes, a woodworking site), and the original Congo Dev.
Every generation teaches the next. Nothing is ever done.
